Out of the blue something just occurred to me. In what way exactly was Denver a whole lot more than a friend? Quite scary when you think about it. Puts things right in perspective. When you’re talking about a massive cartoon dinosaur who befriends children and promises to show them a world they’ve never seen before it sure makes Michael Jackson’s alleged antics seem less of a pressing issue.
You think that’s bad… don’t even get me started on The Chipmunks. What the hell was Dave doing living in a house with three animals. Danger!

In the magical and ever changing world of JamHot there have been many moments where we have had to pinch ourselves to see if we’re in dream or reality mode. Yesterday was one such day. We were working on a shoot with our amazing new clients Laser Station. The guys are a massively successful young company operating laser gaming and indoor dodgem leisure centres throughout the UK.
Our photoshoot for future advertising, video and on-line work saw us coming in to contact with Storm Troopers, as you can see from one of the shots below.
WOW! It was awesome.
We also filmed a fake road rage incident in the same afternoon. All in all a great, but strange day. Keep an eye out in our portfolio section for some of the completed work which will be up… well, when it’s completed.

I love buzz words and the idiots, sorry cool cats, who adopt them so that they sound totally tuned in to current affairs and important things that are going on in the world.
What about the credit crunch. Sounds like a quality new chocolate bar but is in fact a global phenomenon caused by numbers fighting each other in space or in laymans terms by years of muppets who have bought things they plainly can’t afford and now have to pay them back… but oops… don’t seem to have any cash. Ah well, never mind.

So now everything that’s wrong in the world seems to be the fault of this mysterious credit crunch. Not just things that are actually related but actually everything. Everything in the world is due to the credit crunch. Even my dad’s got in on the act giving me some sound advice - ‘watch out, there’s a credit crunch on’. FUCK. Not the credit crunch. I bought a sandwich today that turned out to be really shit. Personally I blame the credit crunch. That bad date I had… credit crunch. In fact, from now on when anything goes wrong in my world I’m going to blame the credit crunch. No more accountability… no more responsibility. Hang on tho, is that not what started the whole shambles in the first place?

This was the sight yesterday on the lovely JamHot sun trap on our front patio. Only one slight problem was instead of sun we had rain. Lots of rain.
Rubbish!

We’re delighted to say that we’re going to be working with Scottish Opera to promote their under 26 program, designed to encourage young people to get some culture into their lives and try out a night at the opera.
It’s all about trying new things and JamHot are well up for that. Why, just the other day Craig ate some fish in batter despite not liking fish… and you know what he reported back that he actually enjoyed the taste sensation that it provided him with. Now myself on the other hand, I’m scared of eating fish. They have eyes that stare deep into your soul warning you not to taste them or bad things with happen to you. Don’t trust fish - not in batter, in sushi or in cakes. However do trust the opera. Fill your soul with music and not your belly with sole.

Trying to set up inter-office computer networks ‘aint the easiest of things - especially when certain large chain PC stores keep selling you mac friendly devices that don’t work on a mac. Luckily we cast our minds back to childhood and found some good computer tips from the aliens at Sesame Street.

Last week we had a craving for chili. So with the mantra of ‘A LITTLE OF WHAT YOU FANCY DOES YOU GOOD’ we embarked on a mini chili adventure.
1. First stop was Chiquitos. Good chili.
2. Next stop was The Goat. Good chili.
3. Amazed by their mastery of the art of chili making we returned again to The Goat. More chili. Good chili.
This week it’s nachos.
Cajun chicken today. Awesome. We’ll know when our time has arrived when we can finally unleash steak week. Mmmmmmm.
Stay tuned for more fascinating updates on the lunchtime adventures of JamHot.

It’s summer! Honestly it is. Typical strange weather, sun then rain then wind. At T in the Park I got sunburnt whilst standing in mud wearing wellies. It’s enough to melt your brain (and your face).
Anyway - thanks to our good friends at Xscape you don’t need to worry about the weather this summer. They’ve got special indoor beaches within each of their 3 centres where you can spend an afternoon happily building a sandcastle indoors. Ideal.
We’ve just completed all their summer activity across the UK including press advertising, 6 sheets, train panels, on-line flash banners, email marketing, website and print activity. So no matter what the weather this summer you can enjoy both sun, snow, sand and much more inside.
